I am a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill studying chemistry (B.S) on the biochemistry track. I am a member of Honors Carolina, the Accelerated Research Program, and a Carolina Scholar. I intend to pursue graduate school for a PhD and a future career in research. My interests lie in genetics, cell signaling, protein-protein interaction, and herpesvirus replication. I currently do research in the Rob Dowen Lab working on an independent project using C. elegans to study the genetic basis of lipid metabolism.
