My main responsibility was to recruit and maintain new members of the edie Sustainability and Energy Leaders clubs (over 800 members). I regularly engaged with members, building positive on going relationships with them. The aim was to get clients and members to commit to attending our bespoke events, such as roundtables, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, workshops etc.

My role was to get as many people as I possibly could to attend conferences and awards. This was 100% telesales and I worked on 3 or 4 events at a time. I called a range of businesses and business leaders to encourage them to attend our paid for conferences and awards. I sold to the Utilities and Sustainability sectors.

I managed existing accounts and customer relationships in order to maintain accounts and upsell to them. We sold online learning packages to the food and drink industry. I provided technical support to account customers and dealt with issues and problems when they arose.Appetite Learning was an online training programme which offers on-demand, cost effective and time efficient training solutions. Critical for all those who work in the food and drink industry where speed of delivery, cost effectiveness and proof of compliance are essential. Appetite Learning offer City & Guilds and CPD accreditation courses.

Bupa Global

Bupa Global provide world-class private medical insurance, to globally minded customers, with access to the highest level of cover available within Bupa and the best healthcare available anywhere in the world. My role involved proactively managing a portfolio of health insurance plans for international businesses. I was responsible for maintaining the retention, renewals and expansion of the company policies.

Overall, I was responsible for active maintenance of Corporate and Conference Accounts for the Hotel. I contributed proactively to the Sales function in targeting and gaining new clients. I managed and developed new and existing business by phone or networking events. I worked closely with Business Development Manager and Revenue Manager in agreeing Corporate rates for clients.

I managed accounts to maximise sales. Successfully reached and exceeded sales targets. Generated and followed up new business leads. Regular meetings and contact with clients. Worked closely with the Marketing team.

I implemented pricing strategies for Airport Car Parks and Hotels and maintained availability on the online booking engine. Loaded new products on to the website. Built and maintained relationships with suppliers and partners.
