Hi! Yasmin Kabir here! I'm a first-generation student at UC San Diego, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science, with minors in Data Science and Cognitive Science. My journey through these fields has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding, providing me with a solid grounding in technical skills, particularly in Java and Python. I’m always on the lookout for ways to learn more and improve.Teamwork and organization are key strengths of mine. I love collaborating with others and find that the best solutions often come from a group effort. Balancing multiple tasks and staying organized allows me to meet deadlines and consistently deliver high-quality work.In addition to my academic pursuits, I am actively involved in organizations such as the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Women in Computing (WIC), and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). These experiences have provided me with invaluable networking opportunities and have helped me develop both personally and professionally.Although I'm not exactly sure what specific path I want to pursue in the field of computer science, I am eager to explore different areas and am open to trying anything.
