As part of Tammey's consultancy projects, my role was outlined as following: 1) Conducting a desk review on youth policies or policies that relates to youth progress in Jordan over the past 3 years including a consolidated contextual and stakeholders analysis including 2) Identifying of categories of socio, economic and cultural needs. Identification of current related youth policies in Jordan and its relation to youth priorities in Jordan.3) Identifying and analysing of policy progress in Jordan consolidated recommendations and one-year action plan for policy progress in Jordan in collaboration with the civil society organizations coalition members.

UN Women Regional for Arab States (ROAS), Cairo, Egypt.- Map and collate relevant UN and NGOs key tools and training materials that can be used for capacity building of CBOs (including youth organisations): program management, strategic planning, M&E, financial management, marketing & resource mobilisation, HR, community mobilization, advocacy, communication (including through social media), gender, masculinity and working with boys and men for gender equality, available in English, Arabic and French and upload them on an existing UN Women website;- In collaboration with the Program Manager and the Project Coordinators develop selection criteria’s and select the most relevant tools and write short descriptions: purpose, how they can be used (online course/requires a trainer, organization who provide capacity building based on this tool etc.) target group, feedback received (if available). Priority should be given to resources developed for CBOs (including youth groups) with a strong gender lens, and which has already been used in the Arab region and/or has been produced by UN Women, including material developed by the Fund for Gender Equality;- Develop a capacity assessment tool, for assessing thematic and the organisational capacity of CBOs;- Identify gaps and recommendations for developing tools which will fill these gaps, with a specific focus on advocacy, communication and programming tools and material for youth on working with boys and men for gender equality.

Exploratory Research Project of Youth Perceptions in Egypt, Libya and Tunisia – researcher, John D. Gerhart Center for Philanthropy and Civic Engagement, American University in Cairo. This study explores the gap between the expectations and aspirations of young people in light of revolutionary promises made in 2011-2012. It analyses youth perceptions towards socio-political changes happening in their environment over a period of eight months (May – December 2012) in three key countries of the Arab transition: Egypt, Libya and Tunisia.
