The position was a consultancy one, seconded from Griffin Group, and reporting directly to the Prime Minister:- Involved in the development of the selection criteria and sequencing the development priorities, programs and investment projects in line with the overall and sectorial development objectives;- Involved in developing transparency criteria for the allocation of pledges over priority projects.- Involved in adopting a fast track, a standard guide for steps and procedures of project development and implementation, which aims at setting up guidelines for the funded projects.- Involved in helping the relevant government bodies to set up and support its implementation of the projects and developed studies and necessary project design to equip and prepare them in its implementation.- Contributed towards the technical capacity building programs for stakeholders involved in the projects development and brought in best practices in project implementation, transparency and accountability in managing foreign resources.- Reported the progress of the projects, be it physically and financially, identify improvement activities based on evaluations and propose solutions.Achievements:- Presented papers to the then Prime Minister of Yemen in September 2014, Mr. Khaled Bahah, to suggest the short term reform of electricity sector, which aims to control the electricity shortage and transmission lines challenges. The papers were approved and adopted.

- Supervised wide spectrum of telecommunication projects across Yemen- Headed the counterpart team for the feasibility study of the FTTx project in Sana’a including both technical and geo-marketing analysis and worked with Sofrecom-Orange France Telecom Group for this purpose. Responsibilities included monitoring projects progress and ensuring compliance between teamsAchievements:- Successfully improved Yemen Internet users experience by influencing strategic decision regarding restructuring YemenNet (local and incumbent ISP) network based on market needs | January 2012 – March 2012.- Successfully managed and delivered within budget a “70k ADSL ports”, USD 2.3 million project, doubling the country ADSL ports capacity. Supervised a team of 42 engineers, technicians and support staff.- Presented various strategic and technical papers, well received and widely circulated, at the annual consultative meetings of YemenTelecom top executives.- Contributed in the discussions and preparation of the RFP of the PSTN to NGN migration project and influenced the decision at a strategic level.
