My life's journey has been marked by the search for an optimal relationship of object and human being. In my former career as a constructor of special machines, my attention was focused on the manufacturability and function of the products. Technology was predominantly adapted to the production process.During my studies of Industrial Design at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal I learned to extend the concept of usability to humans. It was not the relationship between man and machine that had to be explored. Rather, the greatest possible adaptation of the machine to the human being while maintaining flawless technical functionality was always a stimulating challenge for me, one that I still enjoy taking on today.
