I like solving technical problems, especially using electronics and software that goes along with it. The challenge of learning new/old technologies to solve problems excites me. Taken several products form concept/market research to prototype, definition, to schematic/simulation(PVT, Monte Carlo etc.,), to layout/extracted simulations, to Analog Mixed-signal (AMS) verification & debug (bugs do show up in electronics/RTL), to technical documentation, to test development, to QA/yield improvements and etcetera. I provide key technical support for pre/post tape out ASIC Design and Verification and System Validation.• Design and verification of various analog blocks such as amplifiers, bandgaps, voltage references, reference currents etc., in CMOS 80nm/nm/40nm/22nm using Cadence tools and PDKs from foundries for Consumer and Automotive IC products. Hold design reviews (DRs) at various stages • Understand the requirements and the fab process, work with the team to finalize the specifications and architecture. Get a proof of concept schematic working. Provide prototype results and devise design for test (DFT) strategy to ensure testing and yield checks. • Perform extensive PVT & Monte Carlo simulations (DC, AC, Stability, and Transients) to ensure performance over typical and extreme corners. Get approval from the internal customers for performance or update design as needed. Work closely with the layout engineer to convert circuit to layout for proper matching. meeting design rules, and prevention of noise interference for sensitive signals and ensure proper bypass capacitances. Extract RC parasitics to re-run extensive simulations to verify physical design performances.o Design full chip AMS test benches, full chip AMS verification using Analog, Digital RTL, controllers and firmware.• Design validation system hardware including architecture, prototypes, schematics, and work with the layout engineers to complete board/flex design and production. Provide post silicon ASIC System bring up, debug, characterization and validation for Touch and display controllers. System validation using Matlab and other in-house tools. Provide training to worldwide audiences. Support RF Emissions/immunity, ESD (IEC 61000-4-2) testing meet specs.
