From a young age, Yassir enjoyed getting involved in his school as well as in his community. ‎Whether it was with non-profit organizations such as Climate Reality Canada, volunteer with Hema-Quebec or participant in ‎educational programs such as Shad Valley, Yassir has engaged in many efforts to ameliorate his ‎community and to inspire other young people to get involved in useful projects. ‎ Yassir obtained a Diploma of Collegiate Studies (Health Sciences) from Rosemount's Cegep in Montreal and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Montreal University. In Sep 2017, Yassir obtained an MBA from the Paris Ecole des Ponts (EHTP-Ponts). In 2008/2009, Yassir worked as the Montreal Youth Engagement Coordinator at Creating Local Connections Canada, a TakingITGlobal program. He organized workshops and open forums on different topics especially climate change, MDGs, Social Networking for Social Change, HIV/AIDS and Change That Clicks. He also has a good experience in moderating Live Chats and online conferences with youth from different countries and with different cultures and backgrounds. As a Young Activist, Yassir participated in both the World Youth Congress -WYC- 2008 (Quebec City) and the WYC 2010 (Istanbul) as well as in the Al Gore's Climate Change Training (organized by The Climate Project in Montreal, April 2008). Moreover, he developed strong partnerships with youth organizations in the province of Quebec like Canada World Youth.From May 4th to June 1st, 2010, Yassir studied at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing. Not only he had the opportunity to discover a great country and historic civilization, but he understood the major components of the Chinese legal system. Yassir's real passions are law, business and science - the heart of finding solutions to community ‎problems. Being engaged to Yassir is the ultimate way of serving ones peers and actively affecting change ‎in service to all of mankind.
