About Husein Yatabarry

An educator, team leader and social impact professional with a proven history of success in education and youth non-profits. For the past 5+ years, I have utilized my STEM background to empower and uplift hundreds of students throughout The Bronx and Harlem communities with the love of Science and Technology. I enjoy developing deep critical thinking skills in students to connect problems our communities face with STEM-oriented solutions. I teach each day showing my scholars that there is no limit to their success. I am a social impact entrepreneur and founding member of a youth non-profit organization, Neighborhood United. We provide enrichment programming to NYC based youth in elementary and middle school, in partnership with other community based organizations and NY based professionals. I work relentlessly to better the lives of all of the youth I encounter to pay it forward. The change my community needs absolutely does begin with me. My goal for all youth I interact with is to provide them with the mindset and skills that go beyond the four walls of schools or programs towards their own ultimate success.
