I spent five and a half years at The Nonprofit Partnership, a capacity-building organization that provides an extensive array of program and support services to a community of more than 400 member nonprofits and thousands of staff, Board members, and key volunteers. I wore a lot of hats: researcher extraordinaire, finance afficionado, sponsorship queen of Northwestern Pennsylvania, conference planning savant, member services maven… the list goes on. Some of my favorite projects and accomplishments from my time at NPP include:• Creating and managing Women @ Work, an inter-organization affinity group for women staff, Board members, and key volunteers of member organizations; this included creating an online community, leading regular discussion groups on topics like the gender wage gap and invisible labor in the workplace• As a part of a three-person team (!), planning and executing six world-class annual educational conferences for nonprofit professionals from organizations of all sizes and cause areas; in 2019, the conference boasted more than 440 attendees• Earning my Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) credential from the Project Management Institute in the summer of 2020• Speaking at the 2019 Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) conference, presenting the session “Corporate Sponsorships 101,” based on my e-Book and workshop “Creating a Stellar Sponsorship Prospectus”
