Responsible for providing overall Business and Technical leadership to Wipro 3D

Led GE Additive AddWorks for Asia-Pacific Region. Responsible to accelerate additive adoption for GE's customers in APAC region, which encompasses design, materials, industrialization consulting, low rate production, production qualification, part qualification and prototyping.

Led Additive Manufacturing Technology (3D Printing) in Honeywell India. The initiative involved maturing Additive Manufacturing Technology for Honeywell Products across different Businesses, focused on cycle time and cost reduction through metal and non-metal 3D printing for Prototypes, Toolings, Fixtures and Production of Parts. Enabling Design for AM in new designs through topology optimization, light weighting, part consolidation, etc. New material development, parameter optimization, powder characterization and mechanical characterization to support product development and productionization. Established a robust strategy and MOS to ensure cross-site and cross-business alignment for successful insertion of Additive Manufacturing across business groups.

Led projects involving crash simulation of automotive seating system assemblies for assessing compliance with certification and safety requirements. Executed projects involving design and optimization of various seating components. Onsite FEA support at UK for close to one year; supporting the Client’s design team and coordinating the work between the client and offshore team. Exposure to design process, crash testing & assembly of seating system.

Executed design & analysis projects of gas & steam turbines, compressors and various turbo-machinery subsystems. Exposure to the entire design phase involving: Conceptualization, Sizing, Material selection, Finite Element Analysis, Manufacturing Drawings Release. Testing of gas turbine and gas turbine subsystems including test instrumentation, data acquisition and various aspects of development testing.
