Ford Powertrain Control Module EMC Testing: 1. EMC Test Plan Generation and Ownership. 2. EMC Loadbox and Monitoring equipment maintenance, modification, and design. 3. Execution of EMC test plans. 4. Single Point of Contact with customer on EMC issues. 5. Support ALL North American Ford PCM applications. 6. Resolve all anomalies.

Powertrain Electronics (ECU/PCM) Test Engineer1. Provided onsite and remote software and hardware support for PCM products transferred from US to Spain, US to Mexico, and Mexico to Spain. Support included software changes, validation, hardware debugging, and failure analysis for Ford Powertrain Control Modules and Mercury Marine’s MEC engine controller. 2. Developed the functional test program (FTP) using MS Visual Studio 6 for the Mercury Marine ECM on the Visteon PCFerco test system. 3. Specified the functional test (embedded) code (FTC) that works in conjunction with the FTP to test the MEC ECM. 4. Integrated the FTC, FTP, and the PCFerco hardware to thoroughly test the ECM in under 40 seconds per unit.5. Modified FIEM (body electronics) module test equipment for sale to an external company.

1. Managed in-circuit and functional test equipment suppliers by resolving specification, procurement, and installation issues. 2. Successfully resolved scheduling conflicts for on-time launches on body module, climate, and satellite radio testers.3 Specified, procured, accepted, and installed new climate control and body module test equipment for the new facility in Mexico. The test equipment consisted of two HP3070 Series 3 ICT, fifteen ICT fixtures, twelve end-of-line testers, two durability testers, two QC audit testers, and three RF kitting station. I traveled extensively to Canada and Mexico for equipment acceptance and installation.4 During installation, I trained the Mexican engineers on the test equipment and provide product knowledge training. 5 Provided on-site technical support for testing of instrument clusters and radio products.6 Developed engineering specifications, design assurance validation plans, EMC test plans, and provide test support for hybrid electronic instrument clusters and analog clocks.7 Executed the developmental and DV testing for the Ford U152 and Honda KL instrument clusters.

1. Designed, installed, debugged, and repaired automotive electronics test equipment for Fudian Electronics (Visteon and Chinese Joint Venture).2. Developed and implemented the calibration procedures for the automated testers and test equipment as well as the CIM data collection system for Fudian.3. Led the Fudian engineers in the successful launch of the following products through on-site technical support and mentoring: Transit Cluster, M1000 Radio, L1004 Radio, CD-Radio, H2000 Radio, Time-only clock, Lamp-outage module, Subwoofer amplifier.4. Trained the engineers and technicians to be self-sufficient in the maintenance, repair, and calibration of test equipment.5. Spent ten months in China over a two-year period performing the above tasks.

1. Coordinated tester development, delivery, and acceptance for the Jaguar 105-pin Jaguar X100 Body Processor Module for both Dearborn and Palmela (Portugal) facilities.2. Performed developmental hardware and software testing of module and its system.3. Successfully completed the DV and PV through effective testing.4. Designed, debugged, and installed in-circuit, functional, and QC lab equipment for the Kelsey-Hayes and ITT-Teves Anti-Lock Brake modules for the North Penn Electronics Facility.5. Served as the project team leader during my supervisor's medical leave.6. Delivered customer satisfaction by providing immediate on-site support and timely deliveries of equipment.

Engineering Co-op through GMI. Ten co-op terms with manufacturing, finance, test, and product design. The co-op experience culminated in an undergraduate thesis on electromagnetic compatibility of our automated audio test equipment.
