I have over a decade of experience in community relations, engagement and initiatives, as well as a diverse background in sales, marketing, finance, economics, and business administration.After graduating from university, I moved from Toronto, Ontario to Moncton, New Brunswick in search of a better work/life balance. I took on a position at a business brokerage where I worked with small-to-medium-sized business owners. This included those looking to retire and sell their businesses, as well as newcomers looking to buy in. I enjoyed being in a unique position to learn all about the ways to build a successful business, and the challenges surrounding them in New Brunswick.Later on, I pivoted to working for a larger business involved in the gaming, hospitality, and entertainment industries. I reflect fondly on my time spent in developing relationships between various stakeholders and the community. I was proud to be part of a team that developed engaging opportunities for staff to participate in charitable acts of kindness. I also enjoyed pursuing fundraising opportunities for some excellent causes. Currently, as a civil servant, my time is invested in giving local businesses the tools to succeed, which include various sponsorship, partnership, and opportunities offered by the Town of Riverview. I am also a board member of the local Lions Sick Children’s Fund and support them in as many ways as I can.
