As a dedicated PhD scholar at the Transportation Research and Injury Prevention Centre (TRIP Centre) at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, I am passionate about advancing road safety through innovative research and data-driven methodologies. With a strong foundation in civil and transportation engineering, my work focuses on developing and applying surrogate safety measures to assess road safety at various locations, utilizing cutting-edge technologies like UAV-assisted microscopic vehicle trajectories and traffic conflict analysis.I am pursuing Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering from IIT Delhi, where I am currently researching the "Road Safety Assessment at Urban Midblock Locations Using Surrogate Safety Measures." My academic journey also includes an M.Tech. from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat, and a B.Tech. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, equipping me with robust technical skills and a deep understanding of transportation systems and safety analysis.My research has been recognized in reputed journals and conferences, including the International Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems Research and the World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion. I have authored several publications that delve into innovative methods for traffic conflict estimation, safety evaluations using bounding box applications, and microscopic driving behavior assessments.In addition to my research, I have experience as a teaching assistant and mentor, guiding M.Tech. students and contributing to various courses at IIT Delhi. I am also well-versed in analytical tools and software such as PTV VISSIM, MATLAB, Python, AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, Arcgis with different level of fluency in each, which I leverage to conduct comprehensive traffic and safety studies.I am driven by a commitment to creating safer urban transportation environments and look forward to collaborating with industry experts, policymakers, and researchers to make meaningful impacts in the field of road safety and traffic management.
