I worked for Maastricht University promoting and marketing higher education programs to high school students from the UK. During this time, I had many responsibilities in this position including visiting schools in the UK giving talks and presentations to pupils, alongside dealing with press and media in order to promote the University.

This role involved outreach schemes, and administration. Due to the nature of the company a lot of the work was done via the internet and gave me skills in working and motivating myself as an individual in order to complete work according to my own schedule. As well as this I gained skills in working in part of a team based in several area’s in the world. Communication was of utmost importance and I learnt valuable skills in having to adapt to the company’s method of work.

I worked for Next Retail Ltd as a part-time sales assistant for 2 years. My job encompassed a number of roles; from working on the shop floor to working in the stockroom. During this time I developed customer satisfaction skills, cash register experience, and organisational skills required to keep a stock room organised and tidy. I also helped process large orders and deliveries on tight deadlines.
