Oversees the day-to-day activities of the Short Term Assessment and Response Team (START) by organizing schedules and workflow, determining priorities, supervising staff, and consulting staff on complex cases. Provides clinical leadership to the team for the development, delivery and evaluation of services, outcomes, and care planning for the effective utilization of client's resources. Conducts comprehensive assessments and provides comprehensive therapeutic counselling to adolescents and families. Initiates and carries out research activities, develops and implements quality improvement and risk management processes and participates as a member of local committees and planning bodies.

Provides comprehensive mental health/psycho-social assessments to identify client and family's social, emotional and cultural needs in order to formulate appropriate treatment recommendations. Assesses the need for psychiatric evaluation and makes arrangements for this by utilizing a community psychiatrist available to the program. Provides comprehensive therapeutic clinical counselling by providing short-term individual and family therapy, utilizing various therapy and intervention models such as Brief Therapy Model and Crisis Intervention Model. Provides consultative and direct services to clients, families and staff regarding community resources and access to these resources in order to facilitate an effective continuum of services. Maintains clinical records by recording information such as intakes, assessments, treatment formulations and plans, and progress notes.

Provides career, personal, crisis, and student success counselling services to registered and prospective UFV students in the community. Supports students who experience crises relating to academics and mental health concerns, including procrastination, time management, career exploration, anxiety, and depression. Works from a trauma informed client-centered perspective, using interventions that range from brief to longer term.

Individual online counselling with young professionals, students, LGBTQIA2S+, and BIPOC. Provides personalized support in exploration of personal identity (LGBTQIA2S+, faith, etc.), cross-cultural issues, trauma (relational, emotional, physical, spiritual), and family conflict.

Chairperson of Board of Directors and Coordinator for Earper Homestead Convention Canada (EH Con Canada), a non-profit organization designed to celebrate Canadian identity and the value of Canadian content in genre television. EH Con Canada is the first Canadian convention to exclusively celebrate the hit Syfy/Space television show Wynonna Earp. This convention is created by fans, for fans. Since its inauguration, EH Con Canada has raised over $58,000 in donations towards Canadian charities that align with the values of the fandom, of the show, and of the talented folks who work for Wynonna Earp.Full and partial responsibilities include acting as a direct liaison between talent, venue, vendors, planning committee staff, and attendees; booking talent, venue, and vendors; scheduling; budgeting; organizing and tracking ticket sales; COVID-19 safety protocol and risk management; policy writing; social media and public relations; securing sponsorships; presiding and convening over all meetings; interviewing volunteers; coordinating staff and volunteers; assigning tasks; monitoring work performance; logistics and operations; and overseeing and approving all other event details.

Project Description: Exploring the psychology of gender-related issues in mainstream media and advertising, specifically, the non-conscious effects of undetected sexism in advertisements. Focused on learning the basic principles of Quantitative Research Methodology through collecting data in questionnaire format from participants at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.Principle Investigator: Dr. Arleigh Reichl, Department of Psychology

Took part on the Kwantlen Polytechnic University Host Committee in preparing for the 2013 CCAA Women’s Soccer National Championship. Communicated with various qualifying institutions across Canada to collect information for the Tournament Program, and prepared the Tournament Information Manual. Overlooked and managed the CCAA website and Twitter account to ensure real-time updates.
