Stabilizing employment turnover, increasing customer retention and improving sales are some of the key improvements I was able to make.

Having to do more with less is a growing reality many school districts around the world face; even in South Korea were the government has poured countless resources into education year after year. Overcoming this challenge and progressing is what sets good school districts from great school districts. Most people would implore we have to "do more with less," however, I like to think how we can leverage our talents to become better. With this approach I was able to create summer programs that targeted shortcomings a school might have missed, which has contributed to Korea being ranked as the #1 educational system in the world.

The Chungcheongnam-do Office of Education is one of 16 educational provincials offices in South Korea. The ministry of education is in charge of ensuring students receive the best education possible to prepare them for the next phase in their educational or professional careers. The introduction of guest or "native" teachers in the classroom gives students an opportunity to learn from subject professionals without leaving their country. Rigorous testing is mandated from the ministry of education to be accepted into elementary, middle, high schools and universities in Korea. I was selected as one of only a handful of educators to write national standardized test materials for students applying for university.

As a manager of intellectual property, I introduced innovative ways for universities to provide print and digital content to their students, as well as online learning platforms to support in class instruction.

South Korea

How to make learning fun instead is a question every educator asks themselves before stepping into a classroom. It's a difficult task to accomplish as students test scores determine which school they can apply. Teaching has to be creative, it has to be engaging, and it has to be memorable. Finding a way to leave a positive lasting impression on students is what I was able to do during my time in Korea.

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

As the endorsed candidate for district 58B, I advocated for local citizens; gathered public concerns and needs, analyzed policies/events and boosted public awareness. I Interfaced with officials and trade associations. One of the things I was most proud of was playing a key role in establishing a “Minneapolis safe zone” by building and influencing legislative and public policy coalitions. I received the highest vote percent for my party in 65 years!

Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area

I supported the coordination of studies and analysis on resource allocation and financial program evaluation reviews; facilitated decision-making by analyzing programs to assess progress toward financial goals. I cut costs by $50,000 by combining technology projects and prioritizing those with high-impact projects. I help accelerate the productivity by developing and facilitating C-level/managerial training on SharePoint, providing single source for information.
