Innovative Events Strategist | Hispanic Community Advocate | Cultural ConnectorAs the driving force behind Yaya Productions, LLC, I’ve dedicated my career to creating and promoting events that resonate with the vibrant, diverse communities of Jacksonville. With a background in music and sound engineering from Full Sail University and experience working with top industry names like Universal Music Group Latino and iHeart Radio, I bring a deep understanding of how to craft experiences that leave a lasting impact. After returning to Jacksonville in 2018 following Hurricane Maria, I founded Yaya Productions with a vision to spotlight and uplift the rich cultural tapestry of our city. Through strategic event marketing and placemaking, I’ve turned spaces into dynamic environments that celebrate and reflect the stories of our minority communities, especially Jacksonville’s thriving Hispanic population. In my role as the first Hispanic Outreach Coordinator appointed by Mayor Donna Deegan, I’m proud to champion the voices and interests of the Hispanic community, ensuring they are represented and celebrated across the city. My efforts extend beyond events, as I actively work to foster a sense of belonging and pride among all minority communities in Jacksonville through media features and public initiatives.I’m also deeply engaged in shaping the cultural landscape of our city. I serve on the Florida Theatre Marketing Committee, the Visit Jax DEI Board, and Co-Chair the Culture As A Destination subcommittee under the Arts, Culture and Entertainment for Mayor Deegan’s Transition Team. A significant milestone in my career was co-developing a $750,000 artist grant for the City of Jacksonville, aimed at nurturing our local arts scene and empowering creative talent.Let’s connect if you’re passionate about creating inclusive, impactful experiences that celebrate diversity and foster community.Follow Me On IG: @Yayaproductions
