Improved electronics and software for collecting nanosecond time-series data. Developed models and implemented codes in MATLAB for automatic edge-detection and analysis.Invented a new technique with higher sensitivity for thermoelectric measurements in magnetic nanostructures. Explored the interfacial electron-spin accumulation, spin-wave propagation, and spin-charge conversion in atomic scale. Derived and implemented mathematical models in Python to validate the thermal origin of experimental data.Designed and performed state-of-the-art neutron scattering experiments to explore the elementary magnetic excitations in a Dysprosium dimer. Analyzed the energy-momentum spectra statistically and discovered two meV energy levels originating from electron spin excitations.Studied the transport properties of a spin-valve device based on magnetic insulators. Investigated the enhancements of electronic signals at low temperature, validated the paramagnetic thermoelectric effects and the enhancement of spin-wave near the antiferromagnetic phase transition.
