Yung-Yu Chung is a Senior Software Engineer-Data Mining/Data Analysis/Machine Learning in Linkedin. Yung-Yu worked on both horizontal and vertical projects. He designed the anomaly detection models and frameworks for ThirdEye on detecting outliers in timeseries data. Additionally, Yung-Yu worked on bottleneck detection in cloud services and enhanced the load test success rate. After working on horizontal projects for three years, Yung-Yu joined Retention AI team and worked on client-facing recommendations. He received Ph.D degree in Computer Engineering at Iowa State University on Oct. 2016, under the supervision of Prof. Srikanta Tirthapura. He received his B.S. in Computer Science and Information Technology from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan in 2006, and his M.S., in Computer Engineering, from Iowa State University in 2013, under the supervision of Prof. Srikanta Tirthapura. His research interest is Data Stream Mining, Machine Learning, and Feature Selection.
