I am a seasoned Molecular Biologist with fifteen years of successful research experience in academia, with a focus on immunology, molecular biology, cell biology, cell-based assay, and in vivo and in vitro study of DNA damage detection assay. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for achieving verifiable results by conducting experiments with proven molecular biology and chemistry techniques, as well as for designing impactful experiments and method testing for practical application. Professional focal points include DNA purification, DNA sequencing, PCR, Real-time PCR, Reverse Transcriptase PCR, Southern Blotting, Northern Blotting, Western Blotting; UV / Vis, MALDI-TOF, HPLC, MALDI-TOF Mass Spectrometry, and various wet chemistry techniques. Currently, I am conducting postdoctoral research with Columbia University Medical Center’s Center for Radiological Research, focusing on the identification of significant functional HR repair factors in breast cancer, such as BRCA1, BRCA2, and the MRN complex, implementing protein-protein interaction assays to identify the factors, such as the co-immunoprecipitation and tandem affinity purification (TAP). My research goal is the generate essential findings for understanding the etiology of breast cancer, as well as create positive implications for the clinical management of breast cancer.
