Contracted to support the mission of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) by empowering Hispanics in STEM & promoting the advancement of engineers with professional development, career readiness, employment & educational goals. As a Program Manager in the Research & Innovation Office my role included overseeing the achievement of organizational goals by coordinating & executing existing, new programs, & initiatives for SHPE members. I supported, coordinated, traveled nationally, and facilitated workshops for our collegiate program of, Equipando Padres Academy. I developed and designed programming for a new initiative- Equipando Padres University (FYE) with an emphasis in providing parents of first generation to college Hispanic students with knowledge and tools to better support their students earning engineering degrees. Provided project management, data analysis, & budgeting for national programming. Cultivated the design, strategic planning for implementation & scaling of services. Collaborated with divisions to support delivery of high quality & impactful positive member experiences and engagement. Assessed programming strengths and weaknesses, identified improvements, budgeted projections for deliverables.
