The Hall Councils of Frostburg State University allows for students to interact in a democratic environment and serve their Hall Residents by using the budget to plan events that anyone no campus can enjoy.The individual councils meet for a weekly Resident's Hall Association meeting where a larger budget is voted on and uses Robert's Rules of Order. Other matters other than budgets are discussed, but mainly it's source for other organizations to come into play and partner with another council to access the larger budget.I was serving as President of Sowers Hall meaning that I had to schedule our own weekly meeting and also organize all of the other staff members so we could put on events.I had a lot of fun doing it, and I was sad it ended, because I had a very good time.
