There are many interpretations of progress, and I think technology is arguably one of them. I enjoy the fact that in this industry, the only limit is truly your time and dedication. This could be said of all fields of expertise, as I learned from painting and assisting with murals. I gained adaptability to different scenarios, leveraging creative solutions to challenges. It is wonderful to think that technology is truly a work of dedication to enhance our lives. Working in technical support presently, I am learning to appreciate the dedication and time spent notating and troubleshooting. However, technology stands out above the rest, as there is almost always a fantastically rewarding goal being worked toward, which is a reason to keep it secure! I believe that the threat to technological security is an immediate threat to our progress. I hope to develop more skills in malware analysis to truly diagnose and understand the threats, as well as enforce secure programming practices and penetration testing to continue to harden the defense surface.
