Yeabsera is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Political Economy at the University of California, Berkeley on a Pre-Law Track. Her academic journey is complemented by a profound dedication to promoting equity and inclusion, which is evident through her active participation in various organizations. These include the Associated Students of the University of California, the Leadership Institution Fellowship, and the Rental's Legal Association. She is a passionate individual dedicated to demonstrating impactful leadership; as the president President of E-Pads, she empowered a number of students to engage in women's empowerment initiatives and educated the community about menstrual health. Furthermore, by founding AAE_DAA, she raised funds for a therapy center and created a website to combat mental health stigmatization. In the National Honors Society, she organized discussions and provided tutoring support to high school students; the experience emphasized the importance of collaboration, diversity, and leadership, and encourages students to work toward positive social change. Beyond her academic achievements and leadership roles, Yeabsera finds joy in exploring diverse cultures through travel, expressing herself through poetry and art, immersing herself in literature, maintaining an active lifestyle through exercise, finding solace in music, engaging in volunteer work, and unleashing her creativity through literature.
