I have been in the domain of Procurement, Contract Management, Supply Chain Management and Logistics (both inbound and outbound) for about 18 years now. I started my journey in Lafarge, the biggest cement giant in the world. I have had experience in working with a dynamic team and in areas like vendor contract management, strategic sourcing, demand and supply of spare parts and raw material, inventory management, inbound logistics and strategic reporting. After six years of intensive experience, my next journey was with Accenture Bangladesh. My responsibility revolved around setting up the procurement, and subsequent vendor contract management processes and policies in line with the group and set up the commercial business wing’s procurement systems. My experience in Lafarge in similar areas played a pivotal role in creating the same for me. I was responsible to set in the Accenture process and policies of the Procurement and vendor contract management, set up and bring in the team to perform the activities in a manner that will be efficient but yet proper value generating for the business. Then I went on to lead the Supply Chain team in Rangs Limited who are the only authorized distributor of Mitsubishi passenger vehicles in Bangladesh. After six years of continuous growth and having plenty of experience on end-to-end supply chain process management in automobile industry, I have moved to Australia and currently employed as Category Manager of GFG Alliance (a steel giant in Australia) based in Adelaide.
