I have been practicing law since 1997 and in 2001 started my own practice focusing exclusively on commercial litigation and collections.      I have successfully litigated a broad range of matters and obtained favorable rulings for my clients in both trial and appellate courts.  A sample of the matters I have handled include:       ♦    Obtained a landmark ruling with national implications in federal court under the Fair            Debt Collection Practices Act;      ♦    Won a ruling published on the front page of the New York Law Journal as a            Decision of Interest which permitted service of process via email upon a           recalcitrant defendant;      ♦    Litigated actions for breach of contract and labor law violations against employers;      ♦    Represented a financial consulting company against a bank it promoted;      ♦    Serve as outside counsel to a law firm;      ♦    Defended an art gallery in a multimillion dollar lawsuit;      ♦    Litigated disputes between business partners;      ♦    Represented an investor against a broker and brokerage firm for fraud and breach of           various duties; and      ♦    Enforced an action on behalf of a Bankruptcy Trustee involving a preference action.PUBLISHED CASES:    Foti v.
