Motivated and organized candidate holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 14+ years of supervisory and management experience on MEP and Power Plants projects is looking to obtain a “ Procurement Manager” position where strong critical thinking, negotiation skills and large communication network within the Saudi market with almost 100+ suppliers would enable me to play a valuable role in your organization.1)Review the material requirements received from the site through indent or MRP (Material Requirement Plan) and seek clarifications (if any) from the site regarding items/goods & their specifications in order to procure from vendors. 2)Send for RFQ & RFP inquiry to potential local and global suppliers based on operations requirements. 3)Negotiate with the suppliers on rates as well as related terms & conditions (such as price, quality, delivery period, payment terms etc.) to add value and secure interest to the Company. 4)Prepare comparative statement (CS) based on the quotations received from qualified vendors, as per standard procedure. 5)Prepare the pre-qualification documents for the new Vendors in coordination with the accounts team to keep the vendors database enriched for multiple options for the company. 6)Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable one's who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing and perfect payment facilities. 7)Issue the purchase orders (PO’s) and Follow-up with vendors for acknowledgment and pro-forma invoice submission to get the timely & safely delivery of materials/goods/items on project sites.8)Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and to achieve cost reductions as the company endured several cycles of cash flow constraints, production stoppages, and personnel reductions. Achievements: 1)Expedited the material delivery of 2500+ purchase contracts with local/foreign suppliers amounting 125 Million SAR from Nov-2017 to Date. 2)Achieved 12% (8.5M SAR) cumulative savings on pre-existing contracts through renegotiations and resourcing.3)Successfully negotiated a contract in March 2023 for batteris. The negotiation produced 16.4% additional discount from originally proposed amount.
