- Participated in America Learns, an afterschool program that provides efficient homework help. - Directed and led the America Learns program and oversaw an average of 10 tutors at a time.- Interviewed and hired tutors for the America Learns program.

- Interned with State Representative Farley-Bouvier- Attended hearings and briefings important to the Representative and her constituents- Conducted legislation research on the Representative’s sponsored bills, constituent concerns, and other state legislative activity. - Held a screening of The Hunting Ground Documentary at Simmons College to raise awareness about sexual violence on college campuses as well as for the Students Against Sexual Violence Rally at the State House.- Lobbied for two bills against sexual violence on campus at the State House with the Every Voice coalition.

- Interned with State Representative Tackey Chan- Benchmark passed legislation in other states to better inform State Rep. when writing new bills. - Attended and took notes during hearings of the Committee on Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure.- Wrote back to constituents in Rep. Chan’s district about concerns regarding pending bills.

- Engaged in program implementation with different state agencies and the internal work groups of the council. - Researched data and different programs already implemented in different states to further Massachusetts’s efforts to better lives of sexual assault and domestic violence victims.
