Nestand was a team of individuals who managed Sang Sang Planet coworking space. We established ourselves as an independent startup, separate from the parent company, Nspace. I played a role in developing internal branding and establishing team culture by setting missions, visions, and values. Additionally, as a community builder for the coworking space, I implemented several notable initiatives. These included designing one of the first holistic wellness programs for entrepreneurs in Korea, covering physical, mental, and social wellness. Furthermore, I organized the first-year anniversary events during the pandemic, focusing on minimizing contact while fostering connections. Additionally, I conducted campaigns to promote empathy within the coworking space through contactless methods during the pandemic.

KT&G SangSang Planet was a coworking space dedicated to young impact makers, created by KT&G. NSpace took on this project as professionals responsible for managing community spaces. I served as the community team leader of the team. We were involved from the early stages, assisting with the construction of physical and digital infrastructure. Root Energy was a social venture that provided a crowdfunding platform for renewable energy power plants. This platform allowed individuals to invest in the construction of renewable energy projects and generate profits. To encourage local support and engagement, locals in the areas where the power plants were built were offered incentives, as they were often hesitant to welcome renewable energy developments.In my role, I was responsible for fostering both internal and external relationships and cultivating a strong company culture. Internally, I focused on facilitating the development of our company culture, while externally, I built a community of citizen investors for our platform. Key responsibilities included defining core values, conducting company workshops, managing the hiring strategy, recruiting, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and overseeing company branding during the hiring process. Additionally, I planned customer-engaging community programs and launched the first customer video interview.

A-Writers was a project I founded to create opportunities for remote work, fostering the growth of competent professionals capable of working remotely. Our mission was to demonstrate the feasibility of remote work and enable individuals to work from anywhere. As a group of freelance writers and editors, we all had other jobs and projects, but our shared passion for writing led us to collaborate as a side gig. We utilized collaboration tools to work remotely, constantly seeking new and improved ways to work together effectively in a remote environment. I facilitated the group and contributed to writing and editing content. We collaboratively wrote and edited for clients through a global content agency, with notable clients including StubHub.

Nspace, a company specializing in the development of leading sharing economy and space-sharing platforms, such as Space Cloud (the Airbnb for non-residential spaces), requested my assistance in conducting global market research to prepare for overseas expansion. I conducted a thorough market research study for the Space Cloud service and produced a comprehensive report based on the findings, including valuable suggestions and indications derived from the research.

Community Geeks was a project I co-founded with a community-passionate friend to promote remote work culture through community building and foster deeper, meaningful relationships between nomads and locals.1. We organized coworking jellies at various cafes in Jeju every weekend. The jellies followed a structured format:* 15-30 minutes for introductions, sharing daily plans, and offering mutual support.* 3 hours dedicated to focused work.* 30-60 minutes for feedback and reflection.* Optional socializing and local exploration afterward.2. We designed and facilitated the 'WordPress on the Beach' program, an intensive educational experience held over weekends in Jeju. Participants learned WordPress skills and tips to create their own websites, culminating in building a functional website by the end of the program. The program emphasized peer learning, local excursions, and networking with like-minded local creatives and entrepreneurs, making it a meaningful and enriching experience.

Zentrepreneurs is a curated program that seamlessly blends Mindfulness and Entrepreneurship, empowering individuals to excel as entrepreneurs in their personal and professional lives. Our mission was to establish a community program that would enable more Asians to embrace the nomadic lifestyle and leverage this opportunity to deepen their self-discovery, foster connections with fellow Asians and local cultures, and broaden their horizons. Although we were only able to run this program on a small scale in Bali with a few Korean participants, the experience was invaluable. Consequently, we pivoted towards a community learning program, as we recognized that not enough Asians were able to travel and work yet.

As the Chief Manager and Community Builder, I successfully ran the first pay-it-forward model coworking space, 'Open Contents Lab' (www.opencontentslab.org). My responsibilities included daily operation and maintenance of the space to ensure smooth coordination of shared space usage among over 50 user groups. I also planned and hosted membership events and initiatives to foster collaborative work relationships among members. Additionally, I organized and managed an international conference session on community, inviting renowned community leader Alex Hillman from Indy Hall as a speaker. My ability to make members feel welcome and foster a sense of belonging resulted in a 87% increase in coworkers within just one month of assuming the position.

Space Noah was one of the pioneering coworking spaces in Korea, and I had the privilege of being one of its co-founders. I was the one who initially proposed the idea of coworking to the team, and we successfully transformed the space into a thriving community. Our unique and successful community has been extensively publicized by over 30 media outlets, showcasing the vibrant ecosystem of changemakers and entrepreneurs we have cultivated.Through our efforts, we have fostered a strong sense of camaraderie and collaboration among our members, leading to numerous friendships, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
