As a Senior Medical Informatics Specialist, we provide support for the organization’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Next Generation EMR system for Singapore). We also provide assistance to the system build, enhancement and other related services, all aim to provide patient seamless and secured medical information. - Parkway Clinical Quality & Casemix team prepares and collaborates with stakeholders in creating patient data for Clinical Quality improvement Projects, Clinical Indicators analysis and Hospital Performance measures. - Our team also verifies, validates and analyses the hospital data for the various projects including hospitals' licensing and accreditations.- Team also audit the clinical DRG coding for data accuracy in submitting DRG data to the Ministry of Health of Singapore for the bill size publications. - Also Liaises with IT departments to develop solutions for DRG coding and data analysis

- Parkway Casemix team build DRG codes database using International Classification of Diseases, 10th Revision Australian Modification (ICD-10-AM) for data usage in Parkway Pantai Hospitals (Singapore Operating Division) as well as for Ministry of Health Hospital Bill Size - Worked with various departments across 4 hospitals to receive clinical notes promptly for Ministry of Health DRG data submission

- In charge of Donor Care Registry Project under the National Organ Transplant Unit, Singapore to protect the live donors’ wellbeing- Coordinated the evaluation process for pre-transplant patients (recipients) and organ donors including communicating among Transplant Ethics Committee members, Ministry Of Health (Singapore), patients and their family members and the medical team involved- Assessed, planned, implemented and evaluated transplant patient care with nurses and other staff- Provided on-call coverage, including coordinating before cadaveric organs harvesting in collaboration with the on-call physicians and national organ transplant unit team - Maintained and updated the transplantation data regularly for transplant patient survival analysis - Educated patients & live organ donors along the continuum to assist understanding of processes and procedures surrounding pre- and post-transplant issues - Participated in developing the educational materials for the live organ transplant recipients and donors- Convinced management to change their physical document system to electronic document system
