About Yen-Han Chen

Yen-Han Chen is a junior at Georgetown University's College of Arts and Sciences majoring in Government and minoring in History. He is especially invested in international relations, the Asia-Pacific, Taiwan, China, and security. Yen-Han is a native Mandarin Chinese and English speaker fluent in French.He is a part of the Georgetown International Relations Association, facilitating the prestigious North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN) and National Collegiate Security Conference (NCSC) for high school and college delegates, respectively. Yen-Han hopes to use this opportunity to further educate those around him on international policymaking and statecraft and advance his understanding of the field. He also is a teaching assistant for a 30-year-old Georgetown University course that cooperates with low-income communities in DC to promote childhood literacy.Yen-Han has interned for various organizations. His work at Plurus Strategies allowed him to acquaint himself with the semiconductor technology and defense industries. He played a leading role in establishing The Eurasia Center's Taiwan program by facilitating connections between the Center and leading Taiwan-related organizations in Washington, DC, and the US, as well as covering developments in U.S.-Taiwan relations and Taiwan's defense. His time at the American Enterprise Institute contributed to the Coalition Defense of Taiwan project. He enjoys reading and spending time with his family, especially his chocolate labrador, Budd.
