Spearheaded complex logistical operations, including activating and coordinating Statewide Points of Distribution (PODs) and Logistical Staging Areas (LSAs) during major disasters like Hurricane Ian. I led large-scale responder support, managing state-supported base camps for thousands of emergency responders, ensuring timely distribution of essential supplies, and organizing field logistics teams. My approach emphasized rapid deployment, strategic collaboration, and the integration of lessons learned to enhance response effectiveness. I continue to focus on developing best practices and frameworks for disaster response logistics and emergency management.

In this role I managed end-to-end logistics for numerous critical deployments, ensuring operational readiness and resource coordination for rapid disaster response. My role involved overseeing supply chain logistics, site management, and responder support in high-stakes environments. My deployments included responses to hurricanes, natural disasters, and complex emergencies, where I collaborated closely with team members and agencies to deliver resources and maintain effective operations. My experience in the field has strengthened my commitment to building resilient, efficient, and adaptable logistical frameworks in emergency response.

During my firefighting career with the City of Miami, I held multiple operational and training roles, including fire instructor, firefighter, engine driver/operator, platform driver/operator, aerial ladder driver/operator, and aerial ladder firefighter. As the youngest fire instructor in the departments history I trained over 200 firefighter recruits, helping to develop their skills in field operations, safety, and teamwork. As a shift field training instructor and part of the vehicle machinery rescue instructor cadre, I specialized in advanced rescue techniques.My commitment to safety led me to develop the Mayday/Firefighter Down curriculum a department first, enhancing training capabilities and preparedness across the department. Additionally, as a member of the apparatus and equipment committee, I contributed to improving our equipment standards to meet the demands of high-stakes firefighting environments.Proudly served the majority of my career in Liberty City and Little Haiti providing firefighting and ALS Paramedic care to some great communities.

Academy For International Disaster Preparedness. Teaching assistant and student mentor for the Professional Life Experience Portfolio development program. Assisting undergraduate students with professional experience to develop their PLA Portfolio to attain academic credit for their training and experience in the field.
