I am the founder and MD of Intuitive IT. But prior to running my own business, I worked for a number of corporate organisations (my last role was as IT Manager) where I gained invaluable experience and skills, as well as an understanding of how IT can complement and improve business outcomes. In these roles, I was well regarded for being able to translate clearly between the broader business and the IT team without using complicated technical terms and concepts.Since 2008, when the business was founded, things have changed a great deal. Back then, I was working from the laundry of the family home. Now based in Brunswick Street Fitzroy, my office has room for me and my 17 staff (minus the washing machine and laundry trough).I recall the excitement of gaining my first client who needed a new website. I got chatting to the business owner in the computer section of Harvey Norman and offered my services to her, and have not looked back since!Clients these days range from small businesses to multi-national corporates, retail chains, manufacturers and professional services, and they provide my team and me with lots of variety and challenges in our day-to-day work.I'm a passionate sports fan (particularly of AFL and basketball). I have been a member of the Hawthorn Football Club for the last 22 years, which is painfully evident if you visit the Intuitive office.My wife Caroline and I have three kids, so home life is busy; I am President of the local basketball club, the Koonung Comets, coach 2 to 4 teams (depending on the season), and I try to play two games of basketball on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
