* Prof. Dr. Yeong Jin Chung has been serving as the Chairman of the Board at The National Safety Environment Institute (NSEI) since 2022. * Currently professor emeritus and served as a professor in the School of Fire and Disaster Prevention at Kangwon National University from 1995 to 2023. My research is devoted to the combustion and chemical safety with a focus on fire and disaster prevention.* Served as the editor-in-chief of the Fire Science and Engineering (FSE) from 2013 to 2015, and as the president of the Korean Institute of Fire Science & Engineering (KIFSE) from 2017 to 2019.* Established new theories on how to predict the fire risk for heat and smoke damage in the event of a fire (known from Chung's equations 1, 2, 3 and Chung's equations-II to Chung's equation-XII).* My favorite phraseJade cannot be made into a Vessel unless it is broken, and people do not know the Way unless they learn it.
