    • Worked towards the development of the Product Design Specification (PDS) of the ULM009 car following the Standard BS7373. • Calculated the required downforces that the car would have to produce under different racing conditions, coordinated the aerodynamics team and taught the team how to carry out CFD analysis.• I carried out the theoretical calculations of the car’s diffuser, the CFD analysis, the design, the testing and the manufacturing of the diffuser prototypes using a CNC machined mould, followed by the application of a cleaner, a sealant, a release agent, and an autoclaving process using carbon fiber layers. The car was sponsored by various companies such as Ford and Microsoft, and competed in the Formula Student (FS) events of the UK and Hungary in summer of 2014. In the competition in the UK the team was awarded 2nd place in the Business FS competition, and in Hungary, the team was awarded 3rd place in the FS Cost Report competition, and again 2nd place in the Business FS competition.More information about the car available at: http://ulm.formulastudent.org.uk/ulm9.html
