My work focuses on advancing systems change at the intersection of climate, community, equity, and public health through collaborative partnerships. I have 20 years of experience leading multi-stakeholder collaborations to support transformational change that addresses root causes of inequity and creates the conditions for all people, especially those who have been historically marginalized, to thrive. My work spans from co-designing and leading the implementation of programs that drive progress toward justice and sustainability through policy change to building and leading teams of experts across climate, environmental health, and justice to developing strategy and managing budgets and operations.I do this work because I passionately believe that to create a durable positive impact, the intersectional crisis of climate, health, and inequity must be tackled holistically and in partnership with the communities that are most affected. I have a proven track record of accomplishments. I have successfully led program strategy and implementation in a program with over 100 staff and a $30M annual budget, supporting partner-driven strategies leading to the passage of laws and regulations across city, state, and national levels that advance climate justice, public health, and economic development. I have spearheaded initiatives from the ground up to center equity and justice in external policy advocacy and internal operations while developing a culture of belonging and accountability. I have successfully coached and mentored all levels of staff, from executive to junior staff, to align around institutional goals and improve effectiveness.
