Studied the regularization effects of dropout for supervised learning via neural networks, obtained new generalization guarantees for two-layer neural networks trained with dropout. Empirically studied the effects of the covariance structure of dropout-induced gradient noise on generalization

I worked on forecasting prices for FCR services in Germany. My work included data gathering, target transformation, feature engineering and selection, training, tuning and ensembling of models. I also developed and tested several feature selection methods based on Swarm intelligence and mRMR approach
