I was born in London, UK, grew up in Kazakhstan, and am studying for a Bachelor's degree in Hong Kong. I've always felt a bit lost about where I belong. When people ask me where I am from, it is quite hard to pick up only 1 country to identify myself. But when I chose Aviation Engineering as my major, everything clicked for me. I feel a strong connection to the aviation industry because, like me, it doesn't belong to just one place but to the whole world! This connection has fueled my interest, passion, and love for aviation engineering even stronger. This connection to the aviation industry has not only deepened my passion for the field but has also shaped my perspective on taking risks and seeking new opportunities. I am always looking new opportunities to learn and grow! Despite being in Year 3 of my Bachelor's degree, I have already finished my semester exchange in the UK, am actively involved in research on Aerogel Structure Analysis under the URIS scheme and the AEOLUS Design/Build/Fly Team PolyU, and am engaged in the HKAR 147 programme.
