I currently occupy the position of finance manager at Sofline, my responsabilities include or have included: Create and register the subsidiary in Costa Rica and deal with the legal paperwork for all involved institutions.Monitoring key financial performance indicators, cross group collaboration with sales department in order to establish margin strategy and financially-viable compensation packages.Manage labor law and different kind of taxation with specialized lawyers to create an appropriate fiscal strategy for the company.Work with government institutions in providing solutions to special needs in government contracts.Manage account receivable, account payable, cash application, payroll and sales report.Support the commercial area with presentations regarding the financial impact on possible clients .Manage the day a day operation of the company, HR, procurement, accounting, Manage the reporting structure in dual dotting line with Headquarters and people in charge in Costa Rica. Creation of company processes and policies from scratch for the Costa Rican subsiadiary.

responsibilities include: Corporate Reports (including annual reporting package and consolidating information from all affiliates in the world).Analysis of variances on Equity and Intangible assets accounts for the Financial Statements; and month, quarter and year-end close accounting and reporting, which include the FAS-123R expense accounting for stock-based compensation as well as forecast and plan.Account reconciliations of Equity, Intangible Assets, Investments and Accrued Liabilities for Stock-based compensation; the roll forward tracking and accounting for stock-based compensation, getting all the stock information from UBS financial services.Recording of Baxter investment in affiliates.Reporting and filling all the census and surveys for Baxter at the US census, US department of commerce etc.Accruals for dividend payments, and reports on stock repurchases, earnings per share, stock price volatility, and equity plans information for 10-Q and 10-K reporting to the SEC in USA.

Financial Analyst for different companies including Reporting and consolidation, monthly forecasting, annual planning, monthly close/ actuals, variance analysis, and capital planning; Support financial controllers and analysts in developing, tracking and analyzing financial results for various functions and projects; Expense ledger reconciliations and verification, staff database actual and forecast, expense reporting maintenance. Tracking and monitoring allocation process in different companies.Create the Tower of Cost and Results Reports. Manipulate multiple data sources to review recoveries, expenses, and volume dataAdvising companies selling part of their shares, companies with special tax regimens, verification of accounts, cash flows, taxes, Payroll, etc...

Responsible for the execution of audit procedures, including, substantives tests and analytical procedures, understanding the client’s business and the accounting process as it relates to each specific client, comprehension of the internal control environment, executing the audit plan and performing specific tests on the accounts. Work under the supervision of several seniors and managers in the same commitment.
