“CAC is a non-profit organization that supports contemporary Chicago artists and curators by offering residency programs, exhibitions, professional development, and resources that enable them to live, work and thrive in the city”During my time at CAC, I managed the Chicago Artists Resource Community Campaign to raise funds and awareness for the many resources available through CAR. By way of digital communication and connection with the donor community of CAR, I led a multi-week campaign in its second year to raise support for this undeniable asset to the Chicago arts community.

“The MCA is an innovative and compelling center of contemporary art where the public can experience the work and ideas of living artists, and understanding the historical, social, and cultural context of the art of our time.” As Individual Giving intern at the MCA, I worked closely with the Manager of Individual Giving to best support the MCA's Major Donor and Giving Circle stakeholders. I developed extensive comparative research for planned giving all while pushing forward essential donor correspondence through membership renewals, ongoing stewardship communication, and cultivation event execution. Working across both Raiser's Edge and Tessitura, I furthered moves management for future use beyond my time at the museum.

Walla Fest was a volunteer and artist-run all ages music and arts gathering, which aimed to showcase the works of emerging artists and strived to create an accessible arts community around the Philadelphia area through festivals, open mics, exhibitions, interviews, and features. Through Walla, I established core values and skill sets that propelled my interests in arts communities, artist-run spaces, initiatives platforming contemporary, experimental and risk-taking work, and a commitment to the cultural production of our time.

“Vox Populi is a contemporary art space and artist collective that works to support the challenging and experimental work of under-represented artists with monthly exhibitions, gallery talks, performances, lectures, and related programming.” Through my time with Vox, I completed a digital archive migration and organization system, conducted extensive fundraising event research, worked directly with the Executive Director and volunteer Development Committee to present fundraising strategies to the Board of Directors, and drafted letters for sponsorship.
