Primary tasks as part of the finance department included managing A/P, A/R, annual audit support, basic financial reporting, and support with federal grants. Part of a nonprofit development team, I manage donor databases, including Salesforce NPSP. My tasks include recording gifts, acknowledging donors and creating a resource development dashboard for board members. Using Salesforce, I helped the development team implement our stewardship plan, create mass mailing lists and reports.

Assisting the Marketing and Communications Manager with data entry and database management. Other tasks include preparing material for media posts and fundraising sites; processing incoming donations; participating in fundraising events; mass mailings; and anything else directors require assistance with.

Setting up and closing down work stations; ensuring all supplies needed are available; training associates on store policies and procedures; some administrative work including auditing transactions and troubleshooting problems with registers; providing quality customer service by tailoring service to each customer. Assisting management in coordinating a volunteer program with a local nonprofit organization.

Tasks included heading study groups for research methods, proctoring exams, assisting undergraduate students with SPSS Software, and any miscellaneous duties requested by the Associate Professor of Sociology.
