As a dedicated and professional Senior Mechanical Technician with over 8 years of experience in the oil and gas industry at SONATRACH, I bring extensive knowledge in mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair. My career has been marked by a commitment to exceeding client expectations through exceptional project delivery and strong leadership.Currently, I serve as a Mechanical Team Leader at SONATRACH’s Pipelines Transportation Company for Oil & Gas (TRC/RTO). In this role, I lead a dedicated team responsible for the preventive maintenance of SOLAR and RUSTON turbo-alternators and GE gas turbines (Frame 6). I supervise the project engineering team to ensure timely execution of deliverables, develop and maintain essential process-related documentation, and coordinate with technicians, contractors, and sub-contractors to monitor man-hours, invoices, and overall costs.My responsibilities also include maintaining valves and pneumatic systems, addressing fire protection and ESD systems, and adapting boiler maintenance. I create and moderate effective maintenance plans, report to top management, and engage in pre-commissioning, preservation, and start-up of new equipment and facilities. Additionally, I install and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, follow mechanical codes and specifications, and utilize a variety of mechanical measurement tools.Previously, I worked as a Senior Mechanical Technician at SONATRACH’s GP1Z LPG Plant, where I spearheaded the preventive maintenance program for cryogenic equipment, including compressors, heat exchangers, cryogenic pumps, and storage tanks. I developed and maintained comprehensive process-related documentation and supervised the project engineering team to ensure successful execution of deliverables.I am proficient in a wide variety of engineering software and possess excellent communication and time management skills.
