Yetunde Ilori is an insurance professional with almost four decades of experience in insurance market development, leadership development, advisory, mentorship and pastoral services. Yetunde has a broad Insurance markets leadership experience spanning Life Assurance and Market/Price Risk management.She started her insurance career in 1985 with the erstwhile Trans Nigeria Assurance Co. Ltd. Ibadan, Oyo State where she rose to become the Head of Life and Pensions Department. She later joined Crusader Insurance Plc in 1997 where she was appointed Head of Actuarial, Research & Statistics and Life Departments at various times.Yetunde joined AXA Mansard Insurance Plc. (former Guaranty Trust Assurance Plc) in year 2004 andleft in 2017 as the Chief Executive Officer of the Company.She was the Chairperson of the Life Offices Committee (Committee of Insurance Companies Underwriting Life Assurance Business in Nigeria) for many years (2005 - 2012). She was the Director-General/CEO of the Nigerian Insurers Association and also a member of the Governing Council of the Association (an umbrella body of all Insurance and Reinsurance Companies in Nigeria), as well as a Council Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria; she currently serves as the President and Chairman of Council, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) and also serves on the Governing Board of the Centre for Insurance and Financial Management Studies. Yetunde is also the Chairperson of the Life Committee of the African Insurance Organization (Committee of Insurance Companies Underwriting Life Assurance Business in Africa). Yetunde runs a foundation named after her late husband Rev. Kunle llori. The Foundation hosts over 300 widows quarterly. Sequel to the demise of her husband in 2010, she took over the mantle of leadership to become set woman over Abiding Word Evangelical Church lnt'I in Lagos. Yetunde is a mother of three wonderful children. She is a teacher with a passion for the people and things of God.
