Eugene Yeung is an associate in Miller Thomson’s Corporate, M&A and Securities Group, based in Toronto.Eugene represents public and private companies in connection with a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and securities, structured finance and securitization, derivatives and ESG and carbon finance. Eugene also maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting entrepreneurs and small businesses on business law matters.Eugene was previously seconded to the General Counsel’s Office of Ernst & Young. During law school, Eugene served as judicial intern to U.S. District Judge Arthur J. Tarnow. Eugene is the co-author of the 2024 International Comparative Legal Guide – Derivatives Laws and Regulations (Canada).
