Mentoring has been an important part of the Exove's culture for a long time, especially valuable for the summer trainees. We decided to shape a proper internal mentorship programme and my responsibilities as a mentoring programme manager are to organize a mentor-mentee matching, mentor trainings and support for both sides throughout the mentoring relationships.Beeing a mentor for many junior developers for the last 5 or so years and a manager for several developers for the last 2 years I gained a knowledge on the needs of the developers with a little experience and teaching methods that work best for them. I am constantly educating myself on the coaching and training organization skills that already helped me to rebuild the training programme for the 2022 summer trainees, where the order and the content of the trainings support their development in the best way, and a lot of feedback helps our trainers to improve and encourage them for the future trainings.

As a Competence Manager I am supporting career growth of a group of people. Coaching, mentoring, guiding and giving a lot of feedback are my main tools in this role. Development discussions twice a year and monthly meetings are when we set development and personal targets and following up on the progress.Additionally I am interviewing and evaluating developer candidates in the cooperation with People Operations. Together with the resourcing coordination team I am participating in the building an Exove extended model and interviewing subcontractors.

Four years of research ended up to a successfull differentiation of bone tissue of various age, determination of a zonal arrangement within the intact articular cartilage and differentiation between intact and repaired cartilage solely based on the qualitative changes of their infrared spectra and unsupervised clustering analysis based on Fourier Transform Infrared Microspectroscopy. The goal of the Ph.D thesis work was to discover an effective combination of preprocessing methods and the most accurate clustering algorithm, and develop these techniques as diagnostics tool for diseases such as osteoporosis or osteoarthritis.
