Every individual is their own universe and has their own life experiences to representative what is going on in their universe and what might work for one individual may not work for another. There are many different approaches to therapy. It's important to be open-minded and use different skills to help the individual navigate and heal through the process of therapy. Each individual is their own universe and own creation. We each have our own unique journey and mission in life. Getting stuck on one modality of therapy might be doing a disservice to clients and their well-being. Or not...As Carl Jung says, "Know all of the theories, master all of the teachings. But as you touch a human soul, just be another human soul."As clinicians, the goal is focus on each individual and their unique situation, as if they are their own universe. Together with the client, we work on tailoring a combination of different therapeutic modalities and spirituality.The objective is to help the client in their own unique way in their journey of healing. To empower the clinet in any situation they might find themselves in. To have the necessary tools, skills, and support systems in their own unique Journey of Healing from within.
