I spent 8 years at university to get 2 degrees which led me to being a pharmacist. I spent 5 years working in community pharmacy in different roles across NZ and Australia. I'd like to think I was good at my job but one thing was certain. I was unhappy. At the end of 2018 I made the decision to move to Australia in hopes of finding the right place that would help me grow professionally in my career as I believed success would bring me happiness. By the time COVID hit, I had quit my job and turned my back on being a pharmacist. I will never look back.I began to do the things that I had always wanted to do but I had convinced myself that I wasn't good enough for. I taught myself about photography, videography and music production. I started playing basketball competitively again. I began posting on social media as a way of documenting my journey. I wanted to be able to go back in time and see my progression. I had no real expectations. I had no dreams or aspirations of being famous or to go viral. It was just something I had wanted to do since YouTube launched in 2015. Now, I earn my living doing things I love. I am proud of all of those mistakes that turned out to be lessons. I am proud to say I persisted and found my own way to happiness. I am proud of my work and my progress and things I have achieved. I am excited for the future.
