My team creates and maintains unique VR media experiences for our VR headsets.My work focuses on on Meta Quest TV and its integration with other 1st party and 3rd party apps. I work across different stacks such as Javascript, React Native, native C++/Java/Android modules, and GraphQL/Hack backend.* Re-implemented the entire MQTV autoplay experience with a custom interstitial that supports countdown timer, countdown animation and special notifications during immersive playback. Also migrated our Android notification stack at the same time because why not.* Worked with DS/DE to implement a new metric to track media bounce rate.* Implemented the interstitial experience for co-watching* Implementing the hiding feature to allow users to hide media from their browse page* Implementing media session support for our underlying VideoSDK library to be able to communicate with a specialized spatial media controls as well as other 1st and 3rd apps.
