1. providing day-to-day strategic direction and technical and operational planning andsupervision of the implementation of enhancing spatial plans, improving efficiency and transparent in land use licenses, and in establishing a spatially-enabled land use database in the selected districts;2. direct supervision of the work of field team members involved in the implementation of Task 4;3. directly responsible for the preparation of reports and presentations regarding the implementation of Task 4;4. lead liaison with MCA-Indonesia and local government representatives regarding implementation of Task 4;5. prepare data and materials related to the fieldwork for use in for technical reports and presentations; and6. coordinate directly with the Project Director/Chief of Party and other task coordinators in the implementation of field work and preparation of reports and presentations.7. Lead spatial planning capacity building and design/implementation of IMS

The National Forest Biodiversity Conservation Specialist will work closely with other international and national consultants, in performing the following general functions.1. Collect a range of necessary information and data for project document development;2. Coordinate with governmental and non-governmental partners at local, provincial, and nationallevel to obtain information and solicit their inputs;3. Engage governmental, non-governmental and private and community stakeholders in the field offorest biodiversity conservation for project implementation;4. Play a central role in identification and determination of the project target landscapes with theinternational specialists and national consultants;5. Organise and facilitate meetings and workshops for project development; 6. Provide technical inputs to all the PPG outputs and activities as requested.
